While broadcast radio advertising has been slipping down the priority chart for many, internet radio is bringing new life to the concept of radio advertising. Recent studies show that response rates increase 200% when advertisers add internet radio to their other online campaigns. Furthermore, when coupled with traditional broadcast campaigns, response rates increase a remarkable 350%.
As a standalone source, online radio is proving to be an impactful means of advertising as well. 52% of listeners recall hearing or seeing an ad, with 40% of those actually responding to an ad.
