50 Social Media Tactics for Non-Profits

Not-for-Profit organizations are usually faced with the task of performing world-changing tasks on a shoestring budget. There are a number of resources available that sync up with the more popular networks which are amazingly useful. Chad Norman, of GoGreenCharleston, includes these and much more in this great list of social media tactics for non-profits on slideshare.

A few key tips:

  • Create a fundraising campaign organized with Twitter
  • Organize a petition with act.ly
  • Create a Facebook landing page for fans / nonfans
  • Make a funny or compelling video on Youtube, not a sad one
